Downtown Fargo library offering parking perks

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Parking at the Main Library in downtown Fargo could help you fill up your car. Starting now through the end of the year people who park in the Civic Center parking lot will get the chance to win a free $20 gas card.

After you park, you get the ticket validated at the library to enter. Drawings are then once a month. Library users already get two free hours of parking in the lot.

Library Director Tim Dirks says most people don't know about that free parking, this giveaway was created to get the word out and draw a crowd to the library.

Tim Dirks – Library Director: “We are trying to increase the awareness of the parking that we have available based on the feedback that we have per our community research.”
