Pavement heaves cause hazardous driving conditions on eastbound I-94 west of Alexandria

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — Heat has caused the pavement to heave in three places on eastbound Interstate 94 west of Alexandria between Douglas County Road 8 and the Lake Latoka rest area.
Minnesota Department of Transportation crews are fixing the heaves today, so motorists are asked to slow down, use caution and pay close attention to crew members working in the area.
