Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- One of the men arrested in a November drug bust at the UND Phi Delta Theta fraternity received a deferred sentence.
19 year old Connor Moriarty, of Waldo, Wisconsin, was charged with two drug felonies. He took a plea deal for a one-year jail sentence, with 10 months suspended, and two years supervised probation.
Moriarty was a fraternity pledge. He sold a police informant an ounce of marijuana for 345 dollars. Eight other members were either cited or arrested. The incident led to the chapter's suspension until fall 2013.
