Tractor accident claims the life of Otter Tail County man

Otter Tail County, MN (WDAY TV) - Otter Tail County sheriff's officials say one person was killed and another was injured in a tractor roll-over accident.

Deputies were called to a property on Highway 24 in Erhard about 6 PM Sunday and found a juvenile female and adult male pinned underneath the tractor.

First responders and family members were able to lift the tractor off the victims. Fifty-three year-old Dennis Kubitz was pronounced dead at the scene. The 8 year-old girl was taken to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.

Authorities say the tractor was being used to cut the grass and rolled when it entered a driveway ditch.
