House Fire in Bemidji

Bemidji, MN (WDAY TV) -- The Bemidji Fire Department is investigating a fire that caused nearly 200 thousand dollars in damage to a home in Northern Township.

Bemidji, MN (WDAY TV) -- The Bemidji Fire Department is investigating a fire that caused nearly 200 thousand dollars in damage to a home in Northern Township.

It happened yesterday morning, around 11. Someone driving by saw a large portion of this home engulfed in flames, and called 9-1-1.

More than 15 firefighters quickly contained the fire, but crews stayed on scene hours later to monitor for flare-ups. Officials say so far, the fire seems to be accidental.

No one was injured.
