Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- It's hard to believe, but this week, "Atari" is celebrating its 40th birthday.

Video-game enthusiasts at Rock 30 Games in Fargo still have all the old retro gaming systems. From Atari to Nintendo to X-box, they see customers wanting just about anything.

When Atari first debuted in 1972, it cost a shade under 200-dollars, now you can buy a used console for about 35-bucks.

Games like space invaders, frogger and donkey kong are available for 3-dollars.

And for many gamers, it's just about being a kid again.

Chris Frank, regional manager for Rock 30 Games, says, "That was one of my first systems that I started on and I remember playing Pac-man, Pitfall, it's pretty cool that it's been 40-years already, hard to believe."

Atari's rival, Nintendo, debuted in 1983.
