Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- Moorhead Police will soon have a a new look.

The department just bought and is waiting the arrival of 2 new SUV's. Until recently, departments had limited selection when picking squad vehicles.

Officers say this switch will allow them to get around during our wintery conditions, like never before.

The vehicles also have to be able to sustain long, slow days in town, with the ability to get up and go at anytime.
