Otto Bremer Foundation donates nearly $200K to benefit low income families

Today, the foundation presented a check for more than $188,000 to the Lakes and Prairies Community Action Partnership.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Building stronger communities is the goal of the Otto Bremer Foundation. Today, the foundation presented a check for more than $188,000 to the Lakes and Prairies Community Action Partnership. The money will go towards helping low income families around the area.
Joe Pederson – Executive Director Lakes & Prairies Community Action Partnership: "This will allow us now to be in a period of growth again and provide some services that are desperately needed to families and children in the Red River Valley."
The Otto Bremer Foundation has been giving money to area communities for more than 68 years.
