Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - As part of their Adaptive camp a special group of kids is getting a chance to learn the rules of the road in Moorhead today.

The camp, put on for kids with disabilities, took over Romkey Park in Moorhead this afternoon to do a little scooter racing.

Kids were able to navigate the course, trying to stay on track and avoid hitting the orange cones. More than a dozen participated in today's activity sponsored by Moorhead Parks and Recreation.

Alexander Wolfe – 12 Years Old: “The reason we built is because it’s fun and educational, so when you grow up, you have the driving experience from when you were younger.”

The Adaptive Camp meets every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for four hours.
