Fireworks season kicks off tomorrow

Fireworks season kicks off in less than 6 hours, and fireworks are bigger, and more powerful than ever. Starr Fireworks says 9-shot racks will be a hot seller this year. They are bigger, brighter, and reach new heights.

That's because of changes in firework regulations, letting more grams of the combustible mix inside a firework.

It's the closest fireworks have ever been to commercial-grade firecrackers, which are only allowed to be used by professionals.

Starr Fireworks says more people are producing their own big shows - that's where the 9-shot racks come in.

North Dakota residents can start buying fireworks at midnight. Selling season goes until July 5th.
