Minot man pleads guilty to officer assault
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A 33 year-old Minot man has pleaded guilty to assaulting and resisting a federal officer.

U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon has announced that Vincent M. Anderson pleaded guilty to the charge this week.
Prosecutors say Anderson hit a Bureau of Indian Affairs officer in the face when the officer was attempting to arrest him during a traffic stop in Belcourt in March.
Anderson faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Aug. 27 in Minot.
