BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The Bismarck Police Department's newest tool in traffic enforcement is aimed at blending in with traffic.
Deputy Chief Dan Donlin tells the Bismarck Tribune (http://bit.ly/MtfG6d ) that the silver 2012 Dodge Charger with the Bismarck Police Department markings in a subdued gray should help nab traffic offenders who may alter their driving habits when they see a traditional squad car.
Donlin says such "low-profile" squad cars have been used by other law enforcement agencies, such as the Fargo Police Department.
Donlin says a uniformed officer will be driving the vehicle.
