Speedway Spotlight: Scott Bintz

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Our speedway spotlight shines on a veteran driver from Jamestown tonight.

Scott Bintz, is in his 6th season of racing on dirt.

A hobby that he inherited after a guy gave him a street stock car because he owed him some money. Since then, Bintz has flourished capturing 13 feature wins a year ago.

This year he's not only racing in the Midwest Mods division, but has also taken on the challenge of the Wissota A-Modifieds.

Bintz says, " The A-mod has a lot more horse power. You're a little busier in the pits from race to race. It's pretty exciting, you never know what's going to happen. I don't really like water, so dirt works fine for me."
