Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Hot meals will be a sure thing to people affected by flooding in Duluth thanks to the local Red Cross.

Fargo's Red Cross is sending a mass care feeding vehicle within 48 hours to affected areas.

The emergency vehicle will be providing assistance to shelters and neighborhoods, helping people who couldn't otherwise get a hot meal.

Two trained volunteers could possibly be in the area up to three weeks.

Sean Coffman, Emergency Service Director, says, "They will essentially be doing is driving through the neighborhoods in the region affected by the floods, and providing food and liquid to those individuals in the neighborhoods that are basically doing the clean up work."

There will be six other vehicles like this one in affected areas.
