Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A jury has convicted a Fargo man for his role in the October 26th armed robbery of a south Fargo Stop-N-Go store.
They deliberated for about 90 minutes before finding Charles Edward Butcher guilty of conspiracy to commit robbery.
Butcher was one of three men who pointed guns at the Stop-N-Go clerk. The other two pleaded guilty. One is serving three months in jail, the other 2 years in prison. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered to be completed within 30 days.
Butcher faces up to 20 years in prison if the judge grants the state's request to deem him an habitual offender because he has two prior felony convictions.
