Otter Tail County, MN (WDAY TV) - It is a good day for Bear the Dog.
The German Shepherd cross has an injured foot that prevents him from running.
He had been living at the Otter Tail County Humane Society shelter. Today, surgeons at the University of Minnesota operated on Bear's foot and leg in hopes of repairing the injury.
Jerry Mortenson of Fergus Falls led a successful effort to raise more than a thousand dollars for Bear's operation
