(WDAY TV) -- Tomorrow may be the biggest day in the running career of Laura Januszewski, formerly Laura Hermanson.
That's because it's her second chance to qualify for the U.S. Olympic team.
The former Bison All-American finished 10th back in 2008 at the Olympic trials.
And coincidentally, she has the 10th best qualifying time in the field entering this year.
But, the Perham native seems to be handling the nerves with ease.
Laura says, "I've been pretty good about not putting pressure on myself I think. You know if your training well and your racing and your putting all your effort into you know it's going to come. I have had really good experiences those last four years at NCAA and I have good experiences so I'm just going to treat this one like the same thing and not worry so much about the stars and stripes that go around with it."
Januszewski will be competing against fellow All-american and Fargo native Laura Roesler in the 800. Here's a list of the rest of the athletes with local ties that we will be following.
