FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A man accused of bringing a loaded handgun into a Fargo bar plans to plead guilty.
Starmaine Hoeper is charged in federal court with four counts, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a stolen weapon.
Hoeper allegedly showed off the .22-caliber handgun in the waistband of his pants and made threatening remarks inside the Empire Tavern on March 30. Police say there were six bullets in the gun and an additional 19 rounds in Hoeper's pocket.
Hoeper told police he planned to "pop" some people in the bar.
A change of plea hearing is scheduled for July 3.
