Parts of Lake Superior Zoo underwater

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Some animals are unaccounted for after heavy rain flooding parts of the Lake Superior Zoo.

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Some animals are unaccounted for after heavy rain flooding parts of the Lake Superior Zoo.

Zoo officials say there's no evidence any of the animals have left the property. Zoo spokeswoman Susan Wolniakowski says the barnyard animals, including horses, goats and a donkey, may be under water or escaped to get away from the water.

Wolniakowski says the zoo's train depot is completely under water. She says it's the worst flooding ever at the zoo.
