DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — A Dickinson woman has been sentenced to serve a year in prison for driving drunk in a November 2010 crash that killed a passenger in her vehicle.
The Dickinson Press reports that Marty Steidl also has been ordered to pay $1,500 in fines and fees.
Authorities say the car Steidl was driving rolled in a ditch near South Heart, killing 41 year-old passenger Danny Herauf of Dickinson. She reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in which four years of a five-year prison term were suspended.
