Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Red River BMX is back in Grand Forks, after a year without it.
Bikers of all ages, from 3 to 45, meet Wednesday nights to compete on the dirt track. The new location is two miles west of i-29 on highway two.
Change and wet weather derailed the group a year ago, but now they're back. About thirty riders put the pedal to the metal each week in Grand Forks.
Ron Martin, President of Red River BMX, says, "we started on schedule, it took a lot of hard work from a lot of Dads and volunteers. It's a really good thing for the kids. Last year, a lot, a majority of 'em had to go to Fargo or Fergus Falls to race and it gets to be a lot of travel. But now we're set up here."
