Nearly 1,500 FEMA units still occupy Minot

Federal officials say nearly 15-hundred FEMA homes are still occupied. At its max it was 2-thousand.

At an average of 3 people per home, about 45-hundred residents in Ward county live in the trailers.

About half of the homes are in group sites, the other half are scattered throughout private sites.
