Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- There's a restaurant that is wildly popular in Grand Forks, and it could soon be in Fargo as well.

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- There's a restaurant that is wildly popular in Grand Forks, and it could soon be in Fargo as well.

Red Pepper, a taco joint has been a staple in Grand Forks for the past 4 decades. It's known for its Mexican food, specifically the grinders.

The owners say they've been entertaining the idea of expanding to Fargo, and are now actively scouting a location in the metro area.

Both locations in Grand Forks are near the campus, and the owners want to keep that trend going in Fargo-Moorhead.

They'd like to have a place by the end of this year.
