Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Hundreds of kids got a run of the park today as part of the big "Midwest Kid Fest".

The 13th annual Festival at Island Park brings in families from everywhere for games, art and hands on science projects, and performances.

The day kicked off with the Teddy Bear Parade. Parents were able to learn more about local police and fire departments as well as local agencies that help and serve families.
