Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- All hands are on deck at Madison Elementary School, as a community digs in to solve playground problems.
People are piling wood chips into wheelbarrows, and dumping them underneath the play-set as new padding. Volunteers from around the school are pitching in to spruce up the playground, and build a shelter.
Project Coordinators with the Legacy Children's Foundation say the Fargo Public School District is providing the wood chips, and volunteers are providing the man-power.
Emilee Miller - Legacy Children's Foundation: "A lot of them grew up here - I did. When I came here when I was 5, I grew up around this, and it's kinda nice seeing it get new stuff and improving it."
Legacy Children's Foundation helps disadvantaged youth.
