Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Turnout in the metro has been described as brisk and steady. Some election workers were comparing it to a November election.

At most sites the desks used to fill out ballots are getting a good work out. The ballot is a couple of pages long, and takes a little time to navigate.

At Olivet Lutheran in south Fargo there was a long line of people waiting to cast their vote early this afternoon. The measures seem to be driving turnout.

Bethany Gonser – Fargo Voter; “I think measure 2 and 3 are pretty important. I feel pretty strongly on those.”

Mary Morris – Election Judge: “It's been very busy over here.”

Rachel Gehrig – Fargo Voter: “The Sioux nickname. I just graduated from UND so I really wanted to vote for that measure as well.”
