Glyndon firefighters respond to unapproved burn

There was an illegal burn just south of the Moorhead Airport.
Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Rural firefighters say they had a prime example today on the importance of getting a burning permit. There was an illegal burn just south of the Moorhead Airport. It was small and under control, but 2 Glyndon fire trucks were dispatched. Because of the resources used, violators can be charged more than $300 for not getting a permit. In this case firefighters let the man off with a lesser fine.
