Fergus Falls, MN (WDAY TV) - A Fergus Falls woman tried to get money to bail her fiancé out of jail. Instead, she's in jail, too. Police say 21 year-old Kayla Ann Johnson stole money from the Big Chief truck stop, plus items from trailer home.
During a police interview, a companion at one of the burglaries told the detective Johnson was trying to get $2,000 to bail her fiancé, Dean Shamp, out of jail. Shamp, a predatory offender, is in jail for violating his registration requirements.
