West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - West Fargo Police are searching for a suspect who broke into a gas station this morning, using an odd weapon to threaten the clerk. They need your help figuring out who the young man is.

Police say it was just after 4:30 this morning, when a young, Native American male walked into the All Stop on 13th Avenue in West Fargo, showed the clerk a crowbar, and demanded money.

Police say the man took the cash, dropped the crowbar outside the door, and fled on a bike. Police say the clerk did exactly what they were supposed to do, hand over the cash, and call police.

Detective Tim Runcorn – West Fargo Police Department: "Money is not worth losing your life over, or seriously getting injured. The fact that it's a crowbar is not what we are used to, but not much different than someone bringing a bat or bike or something like that."

They say the suspect is a Native American male between the ages of 17 and 25, and about 5 feet, ten inches tall. Police say surveillance video shows he was wearing a grey long-sleeve sweater and blue jeans.

If you have any information on the suspect, call West Fargo Police.
