Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Children are digging into used, non-working electronics, breaking them down to discover how they're put together.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Children are digging into used, non-working electronics, breaking them down to discover how they're put together.

Camp Invention is underway at Oak Grove Elementary School, teaching students about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

At this inventing station, students are prying apart electronics. They'll pick through the pieces, and choose components to use in their own invention.

Students say so far, this station is a favorite.

William Halfeldt, camp invention participant, says, "getting to look inside the stuff you haven't looked inside."

The camp's goal is to teach children about creativity and thinking outside the box
