(WDAY TV) -- If you did not make it to "early voting" last week or absentee voting today, there is still the "real thing" tomorrow.

Polls will open at 7:00 am tomorrow and will close at 8:00 pm. It's already an election for the history books. In Cass County, 61-hundred people took part in early voting, nearly triple the turnout in the 2010 Primary.

Election officials say the big response is, in part, because of high profile issues and several high profile races state-wide and locally.

DeAnn Buckhouse, Cass Co. Election Coord., says, "and we expected a greater turnout this time around than the normal primary there are a lot of hot button issues and a lot of candidates on the ballot so we anticipate a higher turnout."

Make sure you bring your ID to the polling station. A current utility bill or driver's license will do.
