Art Fest kicks off in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks

It's the tenth year for the annual event, and this year is bigger than ever. More than 40,000 people were expected to check out the 162 artists and food vendors.
GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - It's an art lover's dream in the Grand Cities. The Art Fest kicked off in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks on Saturday.
It's the tenth year for the annual event, and this year is bigger than ever. More than 40,000 people were expected to check out the 162 artists and food vendors.
“I think the turnout looks really good today. I hope our weather holds so there's more and more people that come," Cindy Freschette with Lucy's Dining Decor said.
The Art Fest continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
