Gregg Preston – The Polar Express: "With that we thought it was something our family could really do together."

The Preston's say passing out sweet treats is not only bonding as a family, but they're learning important life skills too.

Marie Preston: "Great lessons like math skills and people skills, and they kind of rotate responsibilities."

From counting change, to customer service, the Prestons say the ice cream creates a building block for bonding the family with the community.

Gregg Preston: "It's been an added connector for us, with the people we know."

It's a summer jam-packed with serving up sugary treats, but the Prestons say life couldn't be sweeter. The Prestons will run it for a few hours each evening, in different neighborhoods.
