Pelican Rapids man sentenced to 30 days for assaulting officer

Stadum called for help and another officer arrested the man, Jacob Robert Miltich of Pelican Rapids.
Pelican Rapids, MN (WDAY TV) - The Pelican Rapids man convicted of assaulting a police officer has been sentenced to 30 days in jail. Twenty-five year-old Jacob Miltich also faces fines, fees and restitution of more than $5,300. Miltich is accused of throwing off-duty police officer Jeff Stadum to the ground as Stadum tried to arrest Miltich for drunk driving. Stadum suffered a back injury and various bruises.
