Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -The Minnesota State Track Meet gets underway tomorrow. The Moorhead Spuds will send six representatives to St Paul; of those six the spotlight shines brightest on Glen Ellingson.
Ellingson is the defending champion in the 3200, winning it by a nose last year. He's had the target on his back all season and he's ready to prove that last year was no one-hit wonder.
Glen Ellingson – Defending MN State Champion 3200 Meters: “I guess I look at it as a lot more pressure, but it does give me more confidence. I'm more confident than last year for sure. I didn't think I have a chance, but this year I know that I have a chance. I want it really bad. Last year was great, one of the best feelings I’ve ever had so I'm ready to go for it again."
Taylor Janssen – 2nd State Appearance: “I'm just excited we're going as a team this time because I went last year went by myself. We're going to try to do some work out there this year."
