Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Oxbow's Amy Anderson became nationally known after her great play at last summer's US Open. Her talents have now led her overseas, as the NDSU junior will represent her country in the Curtis Cup beginning on Friday in Scotland.

It's the women's amateur version of the Ryder Cup. Anderson is one of 8 players representing the US, facing the 8 best from Great Britain and Ireland in a match play format.

The matches begin on Friday morning. The US has won 8 straight times. The course they're playing on is 125 years old.
