Fargo-Moorhead (WDAY TV) - Several Fargo-Moorhead high school students are getting set for a trip to Detroit for the finals of the Ford-Triple-A Student Autoskills Challenge. The Minnesota and North Dakota teams will be competing against eachother in Detroit in less than a week, but for now, they're working together to hone their skills.

The teams have practiced multiple times on these Ford Fiesta's in Fargo. The timed competition will pit teams from every state against eachother.

Zack Day – Team Minnesota: “Basically they make something go wrong with it, so it won't run, won't start right. Something's wrong, you just have to figure out what it is and fix it.”

The winning team earns a weeklong job shadow trip with former Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne and his Wood Brothers Racing Team.
