Authorities on the lookout for mailbox bombers in Ottertail County

Ottertail, MN (WDAY TV) - Two cases of potentially dangerous mailbox vandalism in the Ottertail City area have sheriff's deputies warning residents to use caution if they believe their mailboxes have been targeted.
In recent days, the county sheriff's office has responded twice to reports of hazardous chemical mixes placed in plastic bottles and stuffed into mailboxes. It's not known if the mixes were the same. Just one exploded.
If your mailbox has any foam or other possible evidence of a chemical reaction on or near it, don't touch it, and contact law enforcement immediately.
