Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Police are releasing the names of victims involved in the serious motorcycle crash yesterday that shut down 25th Street for hours.
Police say the driver of that motorcycle is 29-year-old Jason Viestenz. 10-year-old Elijah Viestenz was the passenger. Essentia Health is not releasing Jason's condition.
Police say yesterday morning, just after 7, a semi driven by 55-year-old James Toner went to make a wide right turn, from 25th Street onto 23rd Avenue. At the same time, Viestenz tried to pass on his motorcycle, and was hit.
Police say the child was wearing a helmet, but the driver was not, and is seriously injured. The crash shut down 25th for 7 blocks.
