2 taken to the hospital after crash between a semi truck and motorcycle

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - 2 people on a motorcycle were struck by a semi hauling a bulldozer today in Fargo. Police say the semi went to make a wide right turn from south 25th street onto 23rd avenue, at the same time the motorcycle was trying to pass.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - 2 people on a motorcycle were struck by a semi hauling a bulldozer today in Fargo. Police say the semi went to make a wide right turn from south 25th street onto 23rd avenue, at the same time the motorcycle was trying to pass.

1 of the 2 people on the motorcycle was wearing a helmet, both of them were taken to Essentia. The accident shut down 25th for 7 blocks just after 7 this morning, crews were on scene for a couple of hours reconstructing the crash.

LT. JEFF SKUZA - Fargo Police: “Obviously the weight difference between a semi and a motorcycle that's a serious conflict and people on the motorcycle are generally not going to come out ahead on that.”

No word yet on the condition of the victims.
