91st Missile Wing at MAFB getting new Commander
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A new colonel is taking command of the 91st Missile Wing at Minot Air Force Base this week.
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A new colonel is taking command of the 91st Missile Wing at Minot Air Force Base this week.
Col. Robert Vercher is coming to Minot from F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming, where he has been the 90th Operations Group commander. The Minot Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/LbVRzK ) that he served with the Minot missile wing early in his Air Force career, in the 1990s.
Vercher is taking over for Col. Stephen Davis, who is taking a new assignment with the Air Force in Washington, D.C. Davis came to Minot about a year ago.
A change-of-command ceremony is scheduled Monday.
