12th Annual Breakfast on the Farm

The skillets were sizzling this morning in Hawley as more than 5 thousand people took part in an annual tradition. The Hawley Lions dished up hot cakes, fresh eggs, and sausage at the 12th annual Breakfast on the Farm. This year it was held on the Kasin Farm. It's a free will donation for a plate full of food. All the money raised will be used to help local people in need.

John Young – Hawley Lions Member: “We do a lot of our activities are for the youth in town, for the Senior citizens, we the last few years we have been able to contribute glasses to some kids.”

Last year this event raised 11 thousand dollars, and they're hoping to raise close to that this year.
