MOORHEAD - A Moorhead man was arrested early this morning after an incident in the 3000 block of 18th Street South.
Moorhead police responded about 4 a.m. to investigate the report of a disturbance, according to a news release.
Police say an investigation indicated that Emerson John Chasing Bear, 54, threatened to shoot a cab driver, Todd Brown, 41, and that he physically assaulted a second victim, Linda Chasing Bear, 53, or Moorhead. She reportedly received a laceration to the top of her head, police say. No firearm was displayed, the release stated.
Moorhead police are requesting that the Clay County Attorney's Office consider charging Chasing Bear with fifth-degree domestic assault, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats.
Chasing Bear is being held in the Clay County Jail.
