BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Agriculture Department has scheduled sites for its annual Project Safe Send program.
The program enables state residents to dispose of unusable herbicides, insecticides, rodenticides and fungicides free of charge. Funding comes from fees pesticide manufacturers pay to register their products in North Dakota.
This year's program starts July 10 in Harvey and wraps up July 26 in Casselton. In between there will be collections in Bottineau, Minot, Tioga, Killdeer, Hettinger, Bismarck, Jamestown, Lisbon, Langdon and Larimore. Full details can be found at http://www.nd.gov/ndda/ .
