Police spoil possible senior prank attempt at North High

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Police may have spoiled a senior prank in Fargo, and it wasn't by accident. They increased patrols this year for that reason.

Around 3:30 this morning an officer spotted some suspicious activity at Fargo North. They saw one person run off, found a ladder going to the roof and then evidence of two people on the roof. While pranks are often harmless, the punishment is not, it could cost students their diploma.

Dr. Rick Buresh – Fargo School Superintendent: ”To make sure something doesn't happen, or to reduce the likelihood of it happening, there is additional security in place as the school year winds down and that may very well have led to the prank being averted.”

The culprit or culprits in this case haven't been caught, but officials are checking security cameras.
