Minnesota teen hurt in black powder explosion
OTTERTAIL, Minn. (AP) — A rural Ottertail teen is recovering from burns after some black powder he was playing with exploded.

The Otter Tail County sheriff's office says the 17-year-old was near his home when the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The Daily Journal (http://bit.ly/K02yCZ ) reports the boy's skin and clothing were burned.
Sheriff's Lt. Barry Fitzgibbons says the boy suffered second- and third-degree burns to his arms, chest and face. He was taken to Perham (PUR'-uhm) Health and later taken to a Twin Cities hospital. His condition was not available Thursday.
Fitzgibbons says the black powder was found in a storage area and was about 80 years old.
