East Grand Forks man charged with organizing drug trafficking ring

East Grand Forks, Minn. (WDAY TV) - An East Grand Forks man is charged in federal court with organizing a drug trafficking ring that supplied heroin, cocaine, marijuana and other drugs across Minnesota and North Dakota. 26-year-old Noah Bergland is one of 19 people charged.

East Grand Forks, Minn. (WDAY TV) - An East Grand Forks man is charged in federal court with organizing a drug trafficking ring that supplied heroin, cocaine, marijuana and other drugs across Minnesota and North Dakota. 26-year-old Noah Bergland is one of 19 people charged.

Bergland oversees packaging at American Crystal in Drayton. The indictment was filed May 2nd, but didn't become public until the last defendants made a court appearance last Friday. The charges against Bergland go back to January 2008.

He's accused of conspiring to distribute more than 5 kilograms of cocaine and more than 100 grams of heroin, along with marijuana and ecstasy. A jury trial is scheduled for July 10th.
