Fergus Falls teachers agree to new contract

Through the settlement between the teacher's union and board, teachers will receive a 4.9% increase in salary and benefits from 2011 to 2013.
Fergus Falls, MN (WDAY TV) - Teachers in Fergus Falls are getting a raise. After months of negotiating, the school board approved the Master Agreement through 2013.
Through the settlement between the teacher's union and board, teachers will receive a 4.9% increase in salary and benefits from 2011 to 2013. It will be about a two and a half percent raise each year.
Teachers will receive back pay for the 2011-2012 school year. Most of the increase will be in teacher salaries. Health insurance will not change.
