Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo city commissioners are officially backing GO 2030. In a unanimous vote, commissioners adopted the document intended to guide decision makers through the year 2030.
A series of meetings and talks were held to gather input for making Fargo an even better place to work and live. A committee drew up a document to target residents top priorities including permanent flood protection, solar energy, biking, design standards and public art.
Colleen Sheehy – Plains Art Museum Director: “I think it positions Fargo in a really exciting place to become better known as a creative city to build on the foundations of arts and culture that we already have.”
The GO 2030 study was funded by a grant from the Department of Energy.
