POPE COUNTY, Minn. –A two-vehicle collision in Pope County killed one driver and injured three on Monday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2001 Chevy Lumina driven by Eldora J. Eich, 80, of Morris, Minn., was traveling west on County Road 18. Marvin Ackerman, 60, Valley Springs, S.D., was driving a Chevy south on Highway 29 when the two vehicles collided in the intersection around 11 a.m.
Eich died as a result of the crash.
There was one passenger in each car, and all three survivors were treated for minor injuries.
